Charleyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02761253953477248545noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1759869092634119998.post-78300434456211391162013-01-02T22:14:00.000-05:002013-01-02T22:14:01.682-05:00I has a new brother!Hello Inter-nets! I has been very very busy, and this time I has a very good excuse!
I has a brand new baby brother! His name is Cooper, and he is a Golden Retriever. He is almost 10 weeks old now, and finally sleeps long enough for me to have time to write in my bloggie.
Mommy and Frank went to pick him up on a farm on Mommy's friend Jeanette's berfday! He had to ride home in a box... hee hee. <div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh3ZGCei1gZwDd8d6HAO_z2m5xHNwr-xRDvj6oPbWNL3GOQyJhqvH2-BFi2jHSoBlrQkJ2pMED2o_l2WK5DH-mxQeawpRW-MHXXR75MvFHoFF1vX8XpEspSs-ecxExFgAte5kOoehio2BBe/s1600/IMG_2301.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="clear:right; float:right; margin-left:1em; margin-bottom:1em"><img border="0" height="240" width="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh3ZGCei1gZwDd8d6HAO_z2m5xHNwr-xRDvj6oPbWNL3GOQyJhqvH2-BFi2jHSoBlrQkJ2pMED2o_l2WK5DH-mxQeawpRW-MHXXR75MvFHoFF1vX8XpEspSs-ecxExFgAte5kOoehio2BBe/s320/IMG_2301.JPG" /></a></div><BR>
Mommy said that he didn't cry as much as I did when I was on my ride home. I just think he was too young to notice what was going on. I was 12 weeks old when I had to go on that long scary car ride! Cooper was just 8 weeks! He also didn't have such a long ride... less than an hour. I is still proud of him though, cuz I remember how scary my first long car ride was!
<BR><BR>
When he first got homes, I was confoosed, because I didn't know why Mommy and Frank were acting all different. Mommy took me upstairs and when I came back down (I reeeaally wanted to see what was going on) Cooper was in his box in the middle of the carpet! I had to investigate and I sniffed him and was not sure at first what he was.
<BR><BR><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg7Vp_h96JvT4GHE5-6cyvkCNDP9hpFIXZWUV6ix3t-lxkpKJWgkmhLdH20DvwdM4l2D93g6uOYadkE0j-3lkTnh5n7x9CH47jdJC4NA9-oU3S49rtFlaiRdCBTlJlO1VFUAc09VUPopDsA/s1600/IMG_2314.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="clear:right; float:right; margin-left:1em; margin-bottom:1em"><img border="0" height="320" width="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg7Vp_h96JvT4GHE5-6cyvkCNDP9hpFIXZWUV6ix3t-lxkpKJWgkmhLdH20DvwdM4l2D93g6uOYadkE0j-3lkTnh5n7x9CH47jdJC4NA9-oU3S49rtFlaiRdCBTlJlO1VFUAc09VUPopDsA/s320/IMG_2314.JPG" /></a></div>
The first day was a little crazy. Mommy said Cooper would sleep a lot, but he did NOT! He also wanted to chew on Charley tons, and it did not feel so good! I tried to tell him to stop but he's too littles to understand. I knew right away he was a baby though, so I just kept away from him when he decided to start using his teethies on Charley's tail!
<BR><BR>Then we gots our first visitor, on that very first day!
<BR><BR>Jeanette came to visit and she was excited to see Cooper (but Charley too I think), and then her and Mommy got all excited about some shiny thing she had on her hand. It didn't smell like chickens, so I don't understand what the fuss is about, but she was excited and Mommy was excited, so I guesses it's all okay. We played a little bits, and then Cooper finally fell asleep and gave Charley a little bit of a break!
<BR><BR> <div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg08AGqML5WgveCUj_JfFuTwcd_t4d1XzZdJOZRpmJ_-mcAk47TxSkeDM_EZw_Sd5Wb8aHXhZxZHSArF_v6iLldS2cylbZs_1YCi5WU5r0AAjnTjv2SVHx7r_KktTLE_HnktoJ9iDAIWqHw/s1600/IMG_2501.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="clear:left; float:left;margin-right:1em; margin-bottom:1em"><img border="0" height="320" width="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg08AGqML5WgveCUj_JfFuTwcd_t4d1XzZdJOZRpmJ_-mcAk47TxSkeDM_EZw_Sd5Wb8aHXhZxZHSArF_v6iLldS2cylbZs_1YCi5WU5r0AAjnTjv2SVHx7r_KktTLE_HnktoJ9iDAIWqHw/s320/IMG_2501.JPG" /></a></div><BR><BR>
Since then, it's been two weeks, and Cooper is growing sooper fast! He used to be all small, only 6 pounds. Now he's almost as big as Charley! But he's much more funs to play with now. We wrestle and we chase and it's very very awesome. Except when he steals my squeegee... but he's still a baby so I will give him a few extra chances to figure out that those are Charleys!
I has to go out peepeedoodoo now, but I will update with more pictures soon!Charleyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02761253953477248545noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1759869092634119998.post-18115410182435861362012-11-22T19:10:00.002-05:002012-11-22T19:10:26.277-05:00Big Chicken Day!Today was the day we ate the big chicken!! It cooked in the ovens for hours and hours. Mommy said it was really Thanks-giving... I is thankful that Mommy and Frank is giving me some big chickens! I hate waiting, but I was patient and asked nicely for my serving.
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhlHPXE9IR_0fP0Fv_AwCcpFXrQIVm7BInsTW0w0y79M9ASTJ7fbfamiyFJ3bz1OIWkBQ9_ItGZ1DwgqsOLBxmwaWFGEspr88PQSD8A8BdAmEOSQGj_PTQ0Hk2KCv8Z5GfbcptweTVF679i/s1600/IMG_2158.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left:1em; margin-right:1em"><img border="0" height="320" width="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhlHPXE9IR_0fP0Fv_AwCcpFXrQIVm7BInsTW0w0y79M9ASTJ7fbfamiyFJ3bz1OIWkBQ9_ItGZ1DwgqsOLBxmwaWFGEspr88PQSD8A8BdAmEOSQGj_PTQ0Hk2KCv8Z5GfbcptweTVF679i/s320/IMG_2158.JPG" /></a></div>
When it came out of the ovens, we had to wait even longer! Mommy made some gravee, and heated up the other foods that she and Frank made. It smelled soooo yummy! When I got a look at it, it looked pretty yummy too!
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgy5uDWNsyQVF78vkIY5OaUKLJBTvv_TBOWpR06uyIQFSZsJrdBx18xWMG3b0R3j-yjkS6NJmj03DWkzd7W7CG99MQeQFixdubJRjZhbf-TtwaBgcapnZqyA3xKuJOXfWX092aHz0V5BlHv/s1600/IMG_2143.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left:1em; margin-right:1em"><img border="0" height="320" width="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgy5uDWNsyQVF78vkIY5OaUKLJBTvv_TBOWpR06uyIQFSZsJrdBx18xWMG3b0R3j-yjkS6NJmj03DWkzd7W7CG99MQeQFixdubJRjZhbf-TtwaBgcapnZqyA3xKuJOXfWX092aHz0V5BlHv/s320/IMG_2143.JPG" /></a></div>
Frank and Mommy got a new terkey platter and it's pretty cool. It came from Pottery Barn. A barn with no chickens. Weird. <div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiTvD4YiklEvkT5GJeFyLm9EQ1WONCJFcMMXr5JfEwCYKPDDqrVT9Dq7ZcwUPKG8LS0DmsV0maVA2z4W9Bz4LYKr_bWK0etxV3yy8nU91JPu1G_YG-X44QYwyXjT2Tan1icLApNn7M-9ODO/s1600/IMG_2141.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left:1em; margin-right:1em"><img border="0" height="320" width="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiTvD4YiklEvkT5GJeFyLm9EQ1WONCJFcMMXr5JfEwCYKPDDqrVT9Dq7ZcwUPKG8LS0DmsV0maVA2z4W9Bz4LYKr_bWK0etxV3yy8nU91JPu1G_YG-X44QYwyXjT2Tan1icLApNn7M-9ODO/s320/IMG_2141.JPG" /></a></div>
Charley got a special dindins with some terkey, some gravy, and some creamed spinach. I was so excited I might have accidentally flung kibbles across the room and got some spinach on the wall... but I cleaned up every bit! My plate was not as pretty as Mommy's:
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhQof3W4aJBBCbhAemkIpa3GL2HoIBQpap8bEi7GpBjEnxLf0XK6XmtmEuEMbAhjVx-rSTonszyXackdJXPEKlu4Kh4aarOD0e7UM6QkyU-EVHJcapan0wzDZW4_vj1wpZkQ-Ng-DHB4wFm/s1600/IMG_2156.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left:1em; margin-right:1em"><img border="0" height="320" width="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhQof3W4aJBBCbhAemkIpa3GL2HoIBQpap8bEi7GpBjEnxLf0XK6XmtmEuEMbAhjVx-rSTonszyXackdJXPEKlu4Kh4aarOD0e7UM6QkyU-EVHJcapan0wzDZW4_vj1wpZkQ-Ng-DHB4wFm/s320/IMG_2156.JPG" /></a></div>
When we was done, there was a lot left. Frank likes leftovers. I think that they should have shared more with Charley. <div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

I wish every day was big chicken eating day!

I know I hasn't been writing much in my bloggie lately, but I has a big update!
It's almost holiday time, and I looooves holidays! Usually there is lots of foods, lots of sleeping, and lots of fun with peoples. Yesterday, Frank went to Gettysburg, PA where he likes to go to visit the battlefields, and he took Charley with him!
Frank took lots of fotos of Charley exploring the battlefields. I is good at posing for fotos, but I was distracted by all the cool stuffs around to look at and sniff!<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj9dQ-IJY2u5n8SI5GWrTUPRzdqbCN57GtQKZQLhpVYGHgXIM2VVUZKsQuA4CPKCIKRPNVST0CuiTCvTTsTCmJUCLuMoc1wPVwYWZFageJUrr1u0VG9ySvU1-IxsUMxfNL1uBbCfnvEjHpS/s1600/IMG_2087.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left:1em; margin-right:1em"><img border="0" height="320" width="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj9dQ-IJY2u5n8SI5GWrTUPRzdqbCN57GtQKZQLhpVYGHgXIM2VVUZKsQuA4CPKCIKRPNVST0CuiTCvTTsTCmJUCLuMoc1wPVwYWZFageJUrr1u0VG9ySvU1-IxsUMxfNL1uBbCfnvEjHpS/s320/IMG_2087.JPG" /></a></div>
Frank says that I look like I'm on a velvet pillow in this foto. I think it needs to be softer.
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhAOG8BTZMuwubh2kxnvQdSX0xVdwElhp8X5AlRW5my4MP___qvs8S6pMVNuCZnjZDdI9uwqlNWXqpWuHmFUsz3aaF1wGtpxNm9cSFpmGG6UBCgncjGkBikBS91NX5BKk1fH2U5RAGAVi0r/s1600/IMG_2094.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left:1em; margin-right:1em"><img border="0" height="320" width="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhAOG8BTZMuwubh2kxnvQdSX0xVdwElhp8X5AlRW5my4MP___qvs8S6pMVNuCZnjZDdI9uwqlNWXqpWuHmFUsz3aaF1wGtpxNm9cSFpmGG6UBCgncjGkBikBS91NX5BKk1fH2U5RAGAVi0r/s320/IMG_2094.JPG" /></a></div>
I got to be King of the Mountain at Little Round Top. I don't understand the name, because it was not very little, and did not look round. But it was fun to be high up!
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

And since it was a battlefield, of course I had to get a foto of me with a flag.
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

The best part is that on the way home, we stopped in Maryland at a big chicken farm! My mom says it's a terkee, but it just looks like a big chicken to me! When we gots home at night time, Mommy helped so I could get a close up look.
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

Dunno why I needed to be soopervized. It's not like I wanted to lick it. Or maybe just a little.
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgDgTFCGDn9aHvKewYP2bP8pPtEa41eYBAb-Fz62Ttl7znVlO7uzNx0Dk49i-L_aH8Rxlofwye2CABZTZc_HFJu2E5Fd2ksLVE3N9_eGBTyOvxSM4d_nobCSod0M3DUtWQ79MOjYTrEQ7qh/s1600/IMG_2112.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left:1em; margin-right:1em"><img border="0" height="320" width="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgDgTFCGDn9aHvKewYP2bP8pPtEa41eYBAb-Fz62Ttl7znVlO7uzNx0Dk49i-L_aH8Rxlofwye2CABZTZc_HFJu2E5Fd2ksLVE3N9_eGBTyOvxSM4d_nobCSod0M3DUtWQ79MOjYTrEQ7qh/s320/IMG_2112.JPG" /></a></div>
I tried to claim the big chicken for Charley. I don't think it worked.
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjWeiFI2Cm6vSFGP9OmxOjuZN8QhZI285l9BF_4wMk1wtEXdHVFMoC0XmkIXm8drgIh7-dlKUFN0WYbCLNQiUyfH41Q7TjjEmeCW2xsMoUPM1A0BNntmT3ifROcOgDylgIBBiaRPaxqr1MJ/s1600/IMG_2126.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left:1em; margin-right:1em"><img border="0" height="320" width="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjWeiFI2Cm6vSFGP9OmxOjuZN8QhZI285l9BF_4wMk1wtEXdHVFMoC0XmkIXm8drgIh7-dlKUFN0WYbCLNQiUyfH41Q7TjjEmeCW2xsMoUPM1A0BNntmT3ifROcOgDylgIBBiaRPaxqr1MJ/s320/IMG_2126.JPG" /></a></div>
Then I got even more confused cuz mommy and frank made some yummy stuff (they said it's called 'brine') and then put the chicken in a bag with it. It looked less like a chicken... but I'm still willing to eat it!

It's been a good fun few days! Tomorrow we gets to eat the big chicken! Hooray!Charleyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02761253953477248545noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1759869092634119998.post-43237461879780648352012-11-18T23:00:00.000-05:002012-11-21T17:27:01.593-05:00Happy Berfday!My moms daddy (we call him Big Dad) had a berfday last weekend! Charley got to go with Frank and Mommy to their house to celebrate. I gots to play with my sister Gracie, and then the peoples went to a moovie called Skyfall. I asked if I could go cuz I heard that if the sky is falling there might be a little chicken involved, but they said no.
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiE2kQnxG4YzfzhQnl6_THFxpycHc7x7_QFgcDPERYgNSzFCVi4AbMYpZ1JrO3sd3CSoGi-45IRXVo6Esh1hiyPC11mbgCrmr__em8f4KzetPtgzQQyW6ctkB2OgcRESHIN59SAhdOO_jzk/s1600/IMG_2069.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left:1em; margin-right:1em"><img border="0" height="180" width="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiE2kQnxG4YzfzhQnl6_THFxpycHc7x7_QFgcDPERYgNSzFCVi4AbMYpZ1JrO3sd3CSoGi-45IRXVo6Esh1hiyPC11mbgCrmr__em8f4KzetPtgzQQyW6ctkB2OgcRESHIN59SAhdOO_jzk/s320/IMG_2069.JPG" /></a></div>
It's okay though, cuz I still got to play with Gracie, and I also got to get some yummies when everyone got home and made dindins. After dinners, Big Dad made fancy coffees (cappuccinos and espressos and lungos).
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

Then the peoples had cupcakes from a bakery that does yummy ones that were red velvet, mango, and peanut butter cup. No cupcakes for Charley and Gracie :-(

They had sooper cool candles - the flames were colors! I would have gotten a closer look but I'm not allowed in the fancy eating room. I think Big Mom thought they were cool too. <div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

Apparently, my mommy owed Frank a picnic, so she made chicken salad sammiches, potato salad, and other picnic stuffs, and we went! If you don't know what a picnic is, it's AWESOME. It's like dindins, only the peoples eat on the floor with the puppies!
Mommy and Frank brought books to read, which is boring... Charley would rather be chasing squirrels. It was cold outside at first, but then the sun came out and Charley got to fall asleep in a sunbeam, which is one of my favorite things!

Also, Mommy and Frank keep going on adventures without Charley (gasp!). They went to Gettysburg, and mommy went to California, and they went to Mount Vernon lots of times... anyway.<br /><br />Last weekend I gots to go to a birthday party! I thought it was a birthday party for Charley, but then found out it was for Jeanette. I got there sooper early with mommy and her friend Jenee, and we decorated all over. The theme was 'Margaritas and Munchies' - I never has had a margarita, but I loooove munchies! Everyone (except for Charley and Toby) got their own Margarita glasses to bring home with them! I asked mommy if i could have hers... she said no. Poopies.</div><div> </div><div>I runned around all night (oh, I forgot to mention it was a sleep over!!) and hung out with everyones. Rachel brought her doggie named Toby who is also a hot doggie! We played a bit and then just kinda ignored each other. I spent a lot of time especially with Mo, who is sooper cool. I licked her nose a lot and we played and she rubbed my tummy!</div><div> </div><div><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; width: 320px; height: 240px; text-align: center; display: block; cursor: pointer;" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5687478325009688834" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEikqfHtOWSbKWeizeEQLbwoijGCCD7aDx7TtpbL7NWdC0TCxXzM95ohBtduaSausLm3r-K3EdX6o1UE6JTC0W5t3UnyXet63uJjIWAGm2044xGZA1U0e2gJsEFEb-GlYpA9ucjc_popkeN_/s320/DSC01323.JPG" /></div><div> </div><div>Jeanette opened pressies (Charley didn't get any pressies... grrr) and everyone also played a game called Apples to Apples. I don't know why it is called thats - I loves apples! I did not see or smell one single apple (or even a little piece of an apple) the whole time! But everyones was laughing ad having fun, so I guess it's okay. </div><div> </div><div>Everyone stayed up pretty late and had lots of margaritas and sangria and munchies (tacos, brownies, meatballs, dip, you name it!! I even gots some meatballs!!) Later on in the night time Jeanette and Amy and mommy were playing Disney Scene it and then fell asleep. I has the proof...</div><div><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; width: 320px; height: 240px; text-align: center; display: block; cursor: pointer;" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5687479406230630338" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjIghWFFisPqFJGsSAIX28K6vCgRoZpQTg3eckzll9IcXp20wMTAOVDb2oz6dIkEr0pZIo0wipjgaEgBW1KEV1XH2mY0AHbAuALIlsE6gar5iobrDU_a21gKRnjH4HRdf3ocktjOxU1JEFA/s320/DSC01365.JPG" /></div><div> </div><div>It was a really fun night! And trust me, I has had some pretty awesome days. Today I went to Cox's Farm with Frank and Mommy. First, I got to has some watermelons. It was yummy. Then we went past lots of plants and stuff, which smelled cool. Then we went around the corner and saw... CHICKENS! Lots and lots of thems!<br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiNuqQpeyQO7kF80SkFWZ1clwsEeboSFngrEpn8cwTKJ_TIS1igL1GK3_68oOTc_Y28JFKWGMtO8XsneHAVa86XQuGyn_fysI6LazIcP-ATtlqMEDUwJ2LUU0nI2upKbIiX1ERjvg384dBn/s1600/DSC00473.JPG"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; width: 320px; height: 240px; text-align: center; display: block; cursor: pointer;" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5627404222437911106" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiNuqQpeyQO7kF80SkFWZ1clwsEeboSFngrEpn8cwTKJ_TIS1igL1GK3_68oOTc_Y28JFKWGMtO8XsneHAVa86XQuGyn_fysI6LazIcP-ATtlqMEDUwJ2LUU0nI2upKbIiX1ERjvg384dBn/s320/DSC00473.JPG" /></a><br /><br />I was soooo excited that I barked a whole lot. Frank tried to make me stop but it was absolutely no use (he should know that by now). But I did try super hard to be quieter so I could stay with the chickens a bit longer.<br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgise9xo7gDcF-ca13rSwNNCDB9z0DLHLykyvJqPDy9x9rpqmEkmp4ko9Q9-9gLEVEbgXu74jLJ1cCd2i2OXYtD6nOldSZ1dydOEFCCRlf5n_x7cE3kPg91GUkLn3IJj_lMgL-9f-8bRM6_/s1600/DSC00474.JPG"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; width: 320px; height: 240px; text-align: center; display: block; cursor: pointer;" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5627406209107217234" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgise9xo7gDcF-ca13rSwNNCDB9z0DLHLykyvJqPDy9x9rpqmEkmp4ko9Q9-9gLEVEbgXu74jLJ1cCd2i2OXYtD6nOldSZ1dydOEFCCRlf5n_x7cE3kPg91GUkLn3IJj_lMgL-9f-8bRM6_/s320/DSC00474.JPG" /></a><br /><br />Then we came homes and mommy and Frank wanted me to drink some water but I didn't really feel like it (I'm kinda scared of water, but don't tell anyone). So to convince me to drink some, we invented a new game! Bobbing for Kibbles! It's sooper fun! I has a video but can't upload it for some reason... I will try later.<br /></div>Charleyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02761253953477248545noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1759869092634119998.post-7341667557416689282011-07-02T22:18:00.004-04:002011-07-02T22:22:49.440-04:00Speedy is better!So it's been sooper busy the last two weeks, but the bestest news is that Speedy is better! Not the same yet as he was before, but he's billions of times better than when he first came home from the hospitals. <br /><br />The doctors said that he had a stroke-like event, and the better he gets the more we all thinks they was right.<br /><br />He still has troubles with stairs and some walking stuff, so Frank bought a harness for him. Mommy and Frank fitted it on Speedy tonight. I HATES clothes, but this harness looks like fun. It has handles so people can pick him up if they has too!<br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi3F9fZWtTBZjXAwNc4tqR1mzXQqaUGG0eOR_HHI_eHMN7lhX68Z0I-0pdaBe652P84_8KxrmkeI4zvxLVNbLBarRLsqtYNdEZs-YL8FG1JTisre04nYaKF2uip0YAuyHijnJB9j1DU4ktP/s1600/DSC00462.JPG"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi3F9fZWtTBZjXAwNc4tqR1mzXQqaUGG0eOR_HHI_eHMN7lhX68Z0I-0pdaBe652P84_8KxrmkeI4zvxLVNbLBarRLsqtYNdEZs-YL8FG1JTisre04nYaKF2uip0YAuyHijnJB9j1DU4ktP/s320/DSC00462.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5624945366014718738" /></a><br /><br />All finished! Yesterday Mommy and Frank left to go to a wedding in Maryland, and we were at home. Speedy started acting strangely and I don't know why. Krista came over and she knowed immediately that something was not good with Speedy. It usually takes a little longer for Speedy and Ginger to stand up, but Speedy couldn't really stand up at all until Krista helped him. He was walking funny and he didn't look like he knowed what was going on eithers. And then when it was din din time, Speedy didn't want his! I was worried, but Krista laid down and petted Speedy and made him feel better until Cliff came. Cliff helped take Speedy to the car and said they was going to a place called the Hope Center. I was sad to see Speedy go away, but I hopes that the Hope Center helps him. <br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEizOpMt_Cm6EzzghfoKq4WebdyNQhUERUS4mqRVI6zLLAIkTurHtflMl4lfRZg7muhXsM-De6aFoZvGzZ50acwqhujf2-Q8VQHOPlYX2xlzSwcYXz6dZzDuM8AkNDzOB9Zd15ULCeFuSiSg/s1600/DSC00014.JPG"><img style="float:right; margin:10px 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEizOpMt_Cm6EzzghfoKq4WebdyNQhUERUS4mqRVI6zLLAIkTurHtflMl4lfRZg7muhXsM-De6aFoZvGzZ50acwqhujf2-Q8VQHOPlYX2xlzSwcYXz6dZzDuM8AkNDzOB9Zd15ULCeFuSiSg/s320/DSC00014.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5619584305293598002" /></a><br />Mommy and Frank left the wedding as soon as they heards, and they drove fast back to see Speedy. Mommy said that he was trying to turn around in circles and couldn't pick up his paws right. The doctors are good and are taking good care of Speedy over the night time. He is still gone and I misses him lots. Mommy and Frank are going to see him later today. The doctors say it could be a tumor or it could be a 'stroke like event' - I don't know what that means, but I hopes he gets to come home soon. Please think good thoughts and send loves and huggles for Speedy!Charleyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02761253953477248545noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1759869092634119998.post-7056716733625923292011-05-31T21:22:00.008-04:002011-06-01T09:39:46.706-04:00Brunch Visit!Another thing I has been doing a lot lately is visiting big mom and big dad. It's one of my favoritest things in the whole wide worlds. And one of my favoritestest treats is chickens. But when there isn't any chickens, there's sometimes carrots! I thinks theys frozen carrots, because they's sooper cold. But they is sooooo yummy... a few weeks ago I got a really big one! <iframe allowfullscreen='allowfullscreen' webkitallowfullscreen='webkitallowfullscreen' mozallowfullscreen='mozallowfullscreen' width='320' height='266' src='https://www.blogger.com/video.g?token=AD6v5dwupg8VI4DHYbbEH4AQHioQEU1e3s-Uq7cIJVGlZDzuzCmatF3NRRm8q_p-SRBCnN7Z403pHO9g7XNx1QsvYw' class='b-hbp-video b-uploaded' frameborder='0'></iframe><br /><br />Since you has nothing better to do, hope you enjoy watching Charley has a carrot. Speedy looks sad, but don't be fooled! He already ate his carrot. Not the people doctors, the doggie doctors. His name is Dr. Jamie Netschert and he's pretty cool I guess. Mommy likes him. He's a new doctor that I just started going to about a year and a halfs ago. He's much better than my old one. I went to like a billion other doctors when my ears was bleeding, and no one could tell me why! Before he even examined me, Dr. Netschert knew, the very first time I saw him, what was wrong! I has a very complicated ear problem. Mommy says it's called "seborrheic ear margin dermatitis" and it's from my mommy who was a dachshund. Well, not specifically from my mommy, but from many many dachshund mommies and daddies... it happens mostly in dachshunds. Weird. Anywhats, my doctor works at this place in Centreville. Here's a <a href="http://www.cliftoncentrevilleac.com/drnetschert">picture of Dr. Netschert </a> (it would be a cooler picture if he was holding charley).<br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiKAQyL_oN65KT85QC9Lrx9Jois3OlY4-Dp1ohpULVQyCy28AjouMwELsdNccnEpLzNb_MkbJ3gJN81ftmTCtEeVukEuG5eZbbCveaKz0Tq9Tfy_eFVZJawKsVz4QMS8vNNKcJ6z_P2D7Ne/s1600/photo.JPG"><img style="MARGIN: 0px 0px 10px 10px; WIDTH: 239px; FLOAT: right; HEIGHT: 320px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5579277072648790130" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiKAQyL_oN65KT85QC9Lrx9Jois3OlY4-Dp1ohpULVQyCy28AjouMwELsdNccnEpLzNb_MkbJ3gJN81ftmTCtEeVukEuG5eZbbCveaKz0Tq9Tfy_eFVZJawKsVz4QMS8vNNKcJ6z_P2D7Ne/s320/photo.JPG" /></a></div><div> </div><div><br /><a>I does NOT like needles being put into Charley, and this time I </a><a>had to have two! But I guesses it's okay because Dr. Netschert says Charley is PERFECT. (See Mommy, told you so!). He said perfect ears, perfect heart, perfect weight, perfect teethies. The only problem is my stoopid ears. Lately I has been getting a crusty bit on them that kinda hurts. Dr. Netschert gave me a medicated shampoo to try. I didn't like that, but mommy promised it's only an ear bath, not a full bath. I put a pixtur of my latest ear problem here in my bloggie. Hopefully the shampoo will fix it soon!</a> Thanks Dr. Netschert! </div>Charleyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02761253953477248545noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1759869092634119998.post-82967585594522582452011-02-20T22:03:00.004-05:002011-02-20T22:23:05.550-05:00Book Club?<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh9pCtq7moUJfXI959sWfZR_j_DuqafBPULWIuzjFL2XTI55HyuCeh0hA6vDwMrpwCc0lPTeERebWmaVTaV2FTnQU6AJYOY3fLxQnIEfUyjiszi-XZA83muaUAp2lrFOzLCXf8X5oyiOaer/s1600/photo.JPG"><img style="MARGIN: 0px 0px 10px 10px; WIDTH: 239px; FLOAT: right; HEIGHT: 320px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5575977997232114786" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh9pCtq7moUJfXI959sWfZR_j_DuqafBPULWIuzjFL2XTI55HyuCeh0hA6vDwMrpwCc0lPTeERebWmaVTaV2FTnQU6AJYOY3fLxQnIEfUyjiszi-XZA83muaUAp2lrFOzLCXf8X5oyiOaer/s320/photo.JPG" /></a><br /><div><br />So Mommy went to a Book Club meeting tonight (she says 'meeting' but I know she means 'party' - probably with chickens... I wishes doggies was invited!). Apparently Charley has been bad about writing in this bloggie. Oopsies!<br /><br />It has been a sooper long day so all I can thinks about is sleepie peepies. Which reminds me: the reason I know that book club meetings is actually parties with chickens!<br /><br />So not so long ago, my mommy said that it's her turn to have book club at her house. We was in Reston, and Mommy and Frank spent lots of time with foods and cleaning, and they kept saying that they wished Ginger and Speedy would stop letting their hairs out everywheres (I don't think that they can stop, I asked them). Then lots of peoples camed over! I barked a little at first, because I didn't know them all, but then I realized that peopels = FOODS!<br /><br />The FOODS WAS AWESOME! There was cheese and crackers and potatoes and strawberries and one person brought a CHICKEN STEW! Oh man... it was the bestestest night of my life! My mommy has awesome friends that think I'm cute when I sit up on my butt and paw the air. Also when I make my eyes sooper big and licks my lips. Mommy and Frank don't fall for that anymores... but mommy's friends gaves me chicken, and potatoes, and cheese, and even fruits! I had sooooo much fun that I forgot I was at a party and fell asleep in Kay-tees lap... it was comfy. Then I woked up and got more foods!<br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjM7F4EFRsvbya9EM1CqKmC06zH5M3wi10F3MSpJgBKrj28SAR3HkHXDx0RmFtxHCYqQ9E5_NvssjUq2XO8Cqx0A7GIE2orf9RxJNpBjtUDAzZiQLKjLsyWNPpu2H21Um54xa0MeZfZk1su/s1600/photo+%25281%2529.JPG"><img style="MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; WIDTH: 239px; FLOAT: left; HEIGHT: 320px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5575977004187154482" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjM7F4EFRsvbya9EM1CqKmC06zH5M3wi10F3MSpJgBKrj28SAR3HkHXDx0RmFtxHCYqQ9E5_NvssjUq2XO8Cqx0A7GIE2orf9RxJNpBjtUDAzZiQLKjLsyWNPpu2H21Um54xa0MeZfZk1su/s320/photo+%25281%2529.JPG" /></a>I was so tired after all the excitement that I just jumped up on mommy's bed and fell asleep. Usually I sleeps all curled up in a ball to start, but I didn't bother that night... mommy thought it was funny so she took a pixtur and I'm posting it here. Don't I look like I's been asleep for hours?</div><br /><div></div><br /><div>Mommy had a pixtur of when I sleeped in a ball the normal way. This week has been different than usual, because my mommy has been home with Charley! (and Ginger, and Speedy) I asked her if she can stay home all the time but she said that she has to go to the work place. I don’t like the work place, because I is not allowed to go theres… so it must be a bad place.<br /><br />Mommy has been acting kinda weird though, she sleeps a lot and doesn’t play as much with me, which is poopy. But Frank got me a prezzie for Hanukkah! It’s a Snoozer bed and it’s soooper awesome!<br /><br />I sometimes sleep on top, sometimes on the “porch” which is really fluffy, and sometmes all the way in the back. It’s sooper warm and awesome. So that’s what’s been going on in Charley-land… I wishes I had more to say but it’s been boooooring here.Charleyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02761253953477248545noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1759869092634119998.post-75139905043769874912010-10-10T22:57:00.007-04:002010-10-10T23:15:58.118-04:00Helloooo inter-nets!Hi bloggie world! This is Charley! I has a lot of updates, but my mommy has been sooo sooper busy that I couldn't get on the compooter until nows. I had to beg and beg and be extra-specially-awesome to convince her, but here I am!<br /><br />So I has been doing lots of fun stuff. I went to Oktoberfest about 1 weeks ago and it was pretty outside. Mommy and Frank and some of their friends let me have some of their pumpkin custard. No beers for Charley though. I met lots of doggies and barked at some ginormous aminals that mommy said are called horsies. <br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjtT8V61Edb7-cYZNDosYPeDD106or1DbREn_UvVj2yoH-101BJywvV9RZjOIl9oM_AsX_CXtcN08iiK737ylT7nclOqRxdhuMmP9kgJcjm0NDwb12EmomqRTSElOO9IEMidsdVVJnQu5At/s1600/Sep2010_CharleyatMVernon.jpg"><img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjtT8V61Edb7-cYZNDosYPeDD106or1DbREn_UvVj2yoH-101BJywvV9RZjOIl9oM_AsX_CXtcN08iiK737ylT7nclOqRxdhuMmP9kgJcjm0NDwb12EmomqRTSElOO9IEMidsdVVJnQu5At/s320/Sep2010_CharleyatMVernon.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5526618465059104482" /></a>A while befores that, I went to a house that is sooper big! Frank says it was George's house: he was a Prezzi-Dent and his house is called Mount Vernon. Mommy wanted to read her book (boring) but it meant that Ginger and Speedy and Charley got to play outside in George's backyard while she read her book and Frank explored inside the houses (no puppies allowed in the houses... stoopid rules). Here is a pixtur; George's house is in the background. <br /><br />A whiles before we went to the big backyard (I wishes it had a fence so I could run all over the place... but I had to stay with Mommy... oh well), Frank went to a place called Wylie Waggs and got new toys! Then mommy got some halloweenie toys at Weber's! I loooooooooooves toys! So much that mommy pulled them into a pile all around Charley and even though I pretended to hate it at first, I went back to the pile and hung out in it all the times after. It's fun to be with my toys. <br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg4x0bwl0QraTOeIkpJqB7h86f-tq0RCrDs6M4VJ7NHswH2doHGyfGErbK1AtnuDP9lWFSogWjnUAEmVnECeJXCVNkFDbskLOmxRSM1SRYjZrHvocxj45_IbItFi5psqwyXHv2O5BKc7tCY/s1600/Oct2010_CharleyToyPile.jpg"><img style="float:right; margin:0 0 10px 10px;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg4x0bwl0QraTOeIkpJqB7h86f-tq0RCrDs6M4VJ7NHswH2doHGyfGErbK1AtnuDP9lWFSogWjnUAEmVnECeJXCVNkFDbskLOmxRSM1SRYjZrHvocxj45_IbItFi5psqwyXHv2O5BKc7tCY/s320/Oct2010_CharleyToyPile.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5526619235170287346" /></a> <br /><br />Alsos, this last weekend we had a visitor! His name was Felix, and he's sooper cool! I wuz worried at firsts because Frank said he liked him a lot and he was really awesome and stuffs... I was worried that he liked Felix more than Charley! But when Felix got here, I figured out that Frank was right. Felix is 13, but he is sooper cool and even though he wouldn't play with me I like him lots. Felix's mommy and daddy brought prezzies for Frank and Mommy, and an awesome toy for Charley!! (Mommy said it was for Ginger and Speedy too, but I know it is really for Charley) The toy was a monkee... it was cool and squeaky. I killed the big squeekie right away, but I'm saving the little ones for later. <br /><br />Anyways, visitors are super-fun! I gots the extra treats that Felix didn't feel like eating (isn't that crazy? What doggie doesn't feel like eating ALL THE TIME?). We all got along great! Tonight Felix's mommy and daddy and a very small person named Kerry came and picked him up. We played for awhiles, and I got lots of pets. Kerry threw my squeegie and I chased her all around, it was awesome fun! Then they all left with Felix and Charley was sad... but mommy and Frank say that maybe we'll visit again soon! <br /><br />Charley is veeery tired now. I runned three and one half miles with mommy and frank today! I don't know what a mile is... but everyones looks impressed when I tell them. I guess it's a long way?Charleyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02761253953477248545noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1759869092634119998.post-23347592635131969552010-05-04T20:06:00.004-04:002010-05-04T20:20:22.423-04:00I went potty all by myself!Hello bloggie world! I has a great story for everyone today!<br /><br />When I is living at Frank's house, we have a special place to go potty. We go out the front door, down the sidewalk, past two other houses, and then there is a biiiiig place that's all covered with grass! That's the place where Ginger, Speedy and Charley (I is Charley) goes potty (sometimes mommy calls it peepeedoodoo... silly mommy).<br /><br />Today Mommy and Frank came homes, and sometimes when Frank comes homes he says he will take us outsides, but then somehow it takes FOREVER. Frank says he is taking us outsides, and then he picks up some papers, and then he washes some dishes, and then he cleans the doggie water bowl, and then who even knows! Today we was all ready to go and THEN Frank took a box that the mail mans brought and started to open it.<br /><br />I knows that if I go potty inside I get in BIG trouble. And I really had to goes!! Frank was busy so I decided that I is a grown up Charley and I can go potty all by myselfs.<br /><br />I knew exactly where to go! So I went. Right out the front door. The pixtur is not when I went by myself... mommy and Frank told me I should have a pixture for my bloggie so Frank went outside and mommy took a picture of my butt. I wish I had a pixtur of when I REALLY went outside by myself... I bet I looked much stealthier. And I wouldn't have taken a pixtur of my own butt.<br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjLLtwvxNvXHa5AUXZoYf3qY3eMO_ViN2zMdqv5YmEfgKypk_hc9ILhDm4Q-Cu-pvWMiCJrBbijReRsAfhK2b5v4Svovs7M956Qf9Um6Tz-UPZpg0ktqBqBSuemGvKWRa-Pc1JvFuyJc-Bo/s1600/photo.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 240px; height: 320px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjLLtwvxNvXHa5AUXZoYf3qY3eMO_ViN2zMdqv5YmEfgKypk_hc9ILhDm4Q-Cu-pvWMiCJrBbijReRsAfhK2b5v4Svovs7M956Qf9Um6Tz-UPZpg0ktqBqBSuemGvKWRa-Pc1JvFuyJc-Bo/s320/photo.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5467574071123513778" /></a><br /><br />I didn't have my collar or my tags on mes, so I ran sooper fast all the way to my peepeedoodoo spot. Then I heard mommy say "where is Charley?" (I has very great hearing). Then Mommy and Frank said that I had to be inside, so I heard them call "Charley!!" but they called like I was inside the house! I didn't want them to worry, so I ran back to mommy and Frank. They still thought I was inside... hee hee, but then I guess they were very worried so they opened the front door and looked outside just in time to see me come running sooper fast (I was like a speeding bullet... er.... speeding Charley?) straight down the sidewalk. I runned right up the steps and mommy and frank were soooo happy to see me! I got lots of pets and rubs and they said I was a good boy.<br /><br />I think this means that it's okay to go outside and go peepeedoodoos all by myself all the times. I think I'll try it again tomorrow... hee hee.Charleyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02761253953477248545noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1759869092634119998.post-86572328696418571862010-04-23T09:44:00.003-04:002010-04-23T09:47:04.528-04:00ROAD TRIP!!YAAAAAAY!! This morning my mommy told me some really sooper news. My Auntie Julie and my sister Gracie had to move far aways (mommy says its not that far, but it's too far for them to come over all the time, so it's TOO FAR) for something silly called school. But sometimes we gets to go to where they lives now (in a big city!) and visit there! And this weekend we is going to visit! For a whole afternoon! I get to play with my sister and lick Auntie Julie's face lots and lots.<br /><br />Yaaaaaay road trip!Charleyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02761253953477248545noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1759869092634119998.post-23368912091769973102010-04-21T17:45:00.009-04:002010-04-23T09:44:06.313-04:00New ShelfHi bloggie friends! Last night, Frank and Mommy <i>finally</i> put up two shelfs that they got at the store a long long time agos. I didn't knows what they was going to puts there... but it looked nice. Here is a pixtur:<br /><br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiLW7TIK5ypLRViDnr13QVtKgi85IqNYj5ZVPgVfRn03PnCde7sBXal92VRMgQ4o3lX2n9Km6lZOv3e799iYH5ySfJSA2eKvIkW3MEIkNdI9HkUhaWWJfWgyzUFzkqkhFEAm5ztcMyR_cLy/s1600/IMG_2545.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5462712228386096386" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiLW7TIK5ypLRViDnr13QVtKgi85IqNYj5ZVPgVfRn03PnCde7sBXal92VRMgQ4o3lX2n9Km6lZOv3e799iYH5ySfJSA2eKvIkW3MEIkNdI9HkUhaWWJfWgyzUFzkqkhFEAm5ztcMyR_cLy/s320/IMG_2545.JPG" border="0" /></a><br />I wuz sooo bored when they was working on the shelfs that i tore apart a whole squeegie! It's in lots of little pieces with the insides on the outsides (and all over the floor now... hee hee). But when the finished with the shelfs I found out what they wanted to put on it...<br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiXRZN7OtQl6JFQmfnteH5m1nPd5LtHwELa1WfN5mytRgspXRlaCnJUsL535HIGWR9oLhWDSNfRHwCw_E2Q7muK3BgB_pbUIRrQu6L9z2qpZlz6psBseyd4wN7P8XBiCWRWkBR1V9hFG6Ii/s1600/IMG_2546.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5462712238768801490" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiXRZN7OtQl6JFQmfnteH5m1nPd5LtHwELa1WfN5mytRgspXRlaCnJUsL535HIGWR9oLhWDSNfRHwCw_E2Q7muK3BgB_pbUIRrQu6L9z2qpZlz6psBseyd4wN7P8XBiCWRWkBR1V9hFG6Ii/s320/IMG_2546.JPG" border="0" /></a><br /><br /><br /><br /><div>They wanted to put Charley on it!!!! I has been sooper busies as usual, but I has to share something cools I did the other days.<br /><br />Mommy sometimes takes me to something called a doxie meetup. It's like a big party for just long doggies like I is. This time it was at a person called Brookes house. Brookes house has a pool! I got there and I remembered it from last year. I learned to swim in her pool last year. This time I was still scared but not as much scared. Mommy put me in a few times. I think I might have liked it but not quite enough to jump in myself yet. There were doggies everywheres, and there was even doggie cheesecake! Mommy shared some of her hot doggie too.<br /><br />Here is a pixtur of me swimming. Patrick says that the caption should be "Up, Periscope!"<br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEirfc1XY1rFHdyO6fxhUqI9Y0QqjagAcWTkpcJsm3ysr2O0aHvjdq9kbzwlijNpt80d4e1HuRB2tY1xRdf3o5ux-8HRiu0qSRJvx-gl_0DlS_qrMDdBYbAgEQagjP42cW0Sg5A0kOvW2X9Q/s1600-h/IMG_0606.JPG"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEirfc1XY1rFHdyO6fxhUqI9Y0QqjagAcWTkpcJsm3ysr2O0aHvjdq9kbzwlijNpt80d4e1HuRB2tY1xRdf3o5ux-8HRiu0qSRJvx-gl_0DlS_qrMDdBYbAgEQagjP42cW0Sg5A0kOvW2X9Q/s400/IMG_0606.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5239364161595952450" border="0" /></a>Charleyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02761253953477248545noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1759869092634119998.post-52492915355636741902008-05-25T15:07:00.005-04:002010-04-23T09:30:16.017-04:00Gardening and going to a Vineyard!<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj7qoG-FF6K2wXdnwGzJ3NlYMmGQhfot2A9YSUFItPNP6Z1PwrM4jau1N9sfwarjUzlzT9hyphenhyphenuNLSaQnrOVXtSDq-JiUcAnnE2rIdoxkfamKR3ZvYI8-DyZ4gO70qvtDxO_QU7H-eg8nx_Yr/s1600-h/sign.jpg"><img style="margin: 0pt 10px 10px 0pt; float: left; cursor: pointer;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj7qoG-FF6K2wXdnwGzJ3NlYMmGQhfot2A9YSUFItPNP6Z1PwrM4jau1N9sfwarjUzlzT9hyphenhyphenuNLSaQnrOVXtSDq-JiUcAnnE2rIdoxkfamKR3ZvYI8-DyZ4gO70qvtDxO_QU7H-eg8nx_Yr/s320/sign.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5204395857334110162" border="0" /></a>This weekend has been hugely lots of fun! She said that she didn't like the stuff growing outsides of the house and so she and Patrick dug everythings up (except the tree) and planted new flowers and stuffs. It looks lots better. And Scooter got to dig, so he was sooper happy.<br /><br />Then today, we wents to a vineyard! It was called Loudoun Valley Vineyard. I don't know what a vine is. But I know what a yard is. It was not what I expected. There was no fences. But lots of grass and plants and people and doggies. Mommy said it was an event called "Bark and Wine" which means the doggies get to bark and walk around and the peoples get to have wines. I didn't get any wines. But when we got there, we went to a tent and mommy and Patrick got baggies that had goodies for me and Scooter! They had bandannas and water and cookies!<br /><br />We took a walk around the vineyard and then hung out whiles mommy and Patrick had some wine and some foods from a picnic basket. They shared the foods but not the wine. The foods was good... they hads bread and brie and salami and grapes and apples and cookies. I got some of everything but the grapes and cookies.<br /><br />By the times we was done, we was all pooped. It's a long but fun weekend. And mommy said she gets to stay home tomorrow from work. Mommy has been busy, which means that she doesn't let me update my bloggie. *sniff*<br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgoWthKp7VCDEAkot9tm08FO8vRsIZE153tJOImoMCsKRMt_3pZghbFWgKratGJIEaFELMAHUf0r7-OPzJ0MgvQky_kXk5gfovPrN73_lvXnX5WlaDjHJcovhHwc6DYdkriLm_q3PwZmNfF/s1600-h/graciecharleysunbeam.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5190223340260367842" style="FLOAT: left; MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; CURSOR: hand" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgoWthKp7VCDEAkot9tm08FO8vRsIZE153tJOImoMCsKRMt_3pZghbFWgKratGJIEaFELMAHUf0r7-OPzJ0MgvQky_kXk5gfovPrN73_lvXnX5WlaDjHJcovhHwc6DYdkriLm_q3PwZmNfF/s320/graciecharleysunbeam.jpg" border="0" /></a>But there's been lots going on! Mommy says I don't have much times to update, so I gots to be as fast as I can. A whiles ago Mommy's Mommy and Daddy went away on a trip to another place far away. So we went to live at their house to help out while they were gones. Which means I gots to live with Gracie! For two whole weeks! We played and played and played lots, and got to go to Beth's every day to run around in her backyard (like a little doggie park) with Murphy. By the ends of the two weeks we was so tired we spended most of our time sleeping. Expecially when there was a sunbeam to sleep in.<br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi78LRXuxgiHIv6cmXd5XQ8BokhqpP8Rhh2bG03wWBZh8TRvirnD0KJCtlu24v1H5HyDRwVHmd9KwPLy9hdSLVGbKio8YaLp3b5s_PoMke0_te9wWHOs-7-sEaBCb46u9ZojnusK9LuBtpB/s1600-h/addo_overhead_view.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5190223086857297362" style="FLOAT: left; MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; CURSOR: hand" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi78LRXuxgiHIv6cmXd5XQ8BokhqpP8Rhh2bG03wWBZh8TRvirnD0KJCtlu24v1H5HyDRwVHmd9KwPLy9hdSLVGbKio8YaLp3b5s_PoMke0_te9wWHOs-7-sEaBCb46u9ZojnusK9LuBtpB/s320/addo_overhead_view.jpg" border="0" /></a>Then last weekends Mommy and Patrick left me and Scooter at a Dogs Day Out for the whole weekends! I hasn't been theres for a long time. I forgotted it. I was so scared when mommmy left me that I peed on the floor. But I think it was okay. I got to runs around lots and lots all weekends with Scooter! Dogs Day Out is a nice place with fences to keep the big doggies from getting too close to me and Scooter. Mommy and Patrick went to New York to meet more peoples. But no doggies, so I don't mind. I wishes I could go with them though. Mommy said I would be scared of the plan. I isn't scared of nothing!<br /><br />This week has been goods, with lots of visits to the doggie park. I has been playing fetch with mommy. Yay! I gots go now!Charleyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02761253953477248545noreply@blogger.com6tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1759869092634119998.post-22527319211186991592008-03-18T13:14:00.006-04:002008-03-18T13:24:27.306-04:00I loooooves berfdays!Hihihihis again! They didn't share with the doggies. Boo on that. But Gracie and I got to play lots, and we got lots of pets and hugs. We played soo hugely much that by the end of the night I curled up in a comfy corner. Mommy looked at me and laughed, I didn't know why. Then mommy's daddy pulled the tablecloth over me. It was nice and safe and dark. I was gonna go sleepies, but then then made me come out.
